About Us
Hotbed was founded by Margaret Anne Coyle and Perdie Alder, who met at their previous place of work. They’d both had enough of the inequalities that existed in the startup ecosystem, and decided they were going to be the ones to change it. In May 2022, Hotbed ran their first programme.
Since then, 500+ startups have gone through the programmes, have made 150+ investor/founder introductions, have hosted two all day summit’s and numerous events with partners including SeedLegals, G-P, Stripe, HSBC Innovation Bank, Debite, Seedrs, AWS, Zendesk and more.
Perdie Alder, Co-founder & CCO
Perdie has 7+ years of experience in the startup ecosystem, supporting thousands of founders and investors. Prior to Hotbed, Perdie designed programmes for entrepreneurs in London, Greece, and Ghana. In 2014 she worked at a Unicorn tech scaleup, Reward Gateway, and prior to that spent 5+ years in sales. At University, whilst running a business, she achieved a BA in Business Management and Psychology and an MA in Entrepreneurship.
M Coyle, Co-founder & CEO
M has 5+ years of experience in the startup ecosystem, supporting thousands of founders and investors. Prior to Hotbed, Margaret Anne was Programme Lead for a community of tech startups. Alongside being acting CEO of Hotbed, Margaret Anne also built Hotbed’s MVP. Margaret Anne has a BA in Entrepreneurship, and experience with Computer Science.Subscribe to our Mailing List
